Yes, A former lead singer of Smash Mouth has passed away.
The singer died of acute liver failure on Monday, september 4 at his home in Boise, Idaho, "He was surrounded by family and friends and passed peacefully and comfortably," Hayes said in a statement.
He passed at age of 56.
